It was a long day at work, and it didn’t get too much better when I got home.  I went on my computer and noticed that I had a corrupt pst file.  I was hoping that this would be an easy fix, but I really didn’t know how long it would take me to fix the problem.  Well, I went online and typed ‘fix corrupt pst‘ into a search engine in order to find a repair tool that could help me out.  It was actually a lot easier than I thought!  I was really happy to have my problem fixed as fast as it was.

An Unexpected Basement Flood

When we discovered we had a little water coming into our basement when it rained a lot, we did’nt get too worried because it was really just a trickle and it always dried up on it’s own. Then last year it rained off and on for a whole week. I did’nt give the basement a single thought until I went down to store some stuff. When I flipped the light on this time I was in no prepared for the amount of water I saw. There was at least a foot or more everywhere!

I went and called a water damage service right away. They had to pump the water out and it was discovered, the cement block that had been leaking, now had the mortor missing all on one side and had let a constant stream of water flow in from the yard. Thank goodness it had not been hot enough or long enough for any mold to form, but had it been some other time of year, it probably would have.

This coming September 15th will be my parents thirtieth wedding anniversary and I wanted to do something very nice for them. My parents are fairly well off so they have seen and did pretty much everything. For this reason I wanted to buy them something that would be a gift from the heart. One thing that I had seen not long ago was a way to take a regualr picture and turn it into a Canvas Printing. I thought that a picture of us kids in this format would make an excellent gift. Whe I asked my brother about this he said he agreed with me.

Electric Lawn Mower

I bought this mower after a lot of research and reading reviews. Based on those I figured I’d probably have to do my lawn in two different days with a recharge in between…the local dealer even warned me as much…not a chance. I have a much larger lawn than reviews suggest you can cut and it made it through with left over power to spare. The only complaint is a little uneven cut in a few spots…that didn’t go away slowing down or even with a second pass, just not as crisp as a gas mower. The blade doesn’t seem to create as much upward lift to pull grass up and even. But, overall I’m more than sold and very happy to cut down on the noise, gas and fumes.
