Compare Car Insurance and Save

In today’s economy, people are finding it necessary to cut back everywhere they possibly can.  My best friend is always looking for ways to decrease her bills.  Yesterday, she came over and asked if we could compare car insurance.  She wanted to see if she could save any money by switching to my carrier.  We did the comparison, then did some research online and found a more affordable policy for each of us.  It does pay to compare.  By doing so, we both are saving money on our car insurance.  Wonder what other ways we can find to decrease our expenses.
