Laptop Recording Workstations

September 2nd, 2010 by admin

Some music producers and sound engineers like to use a notebook computer (usually a Macintosh) loaded with Pro Tools so that they can move between various studios and make use of different gear. It also allows them to work on the road, such as on an airplane or even at a restaurant. When starting out you will not be moving between many studios so you won’t need an expensive notebook audio system. Laptop studio recording, of course, can work if you wish to make use of your notebook computer. Make sure that you have a high end audio device and you are good to go.
