Paperwork and Report Reputation

It amazes me that there are still pretty promising companies out there that since they are still private can be run in a lot of old fashion ways. For instance, I am used to dealing with companies that have very documented business plans and financials but every once in a while a successful company can be run without these in place. It is my job in the Reputation Management area that I make sure that the reports, however they are generated, are authentic and there is no room for an outside company to be able to point the finger of fraud in any direction.
