Hoping for a Settlement

My son is in law school and is currently learning all about how a lawsuit advance works. I was very surprised to learn that this type of loan is very popular. Not only can you receive your money within as little as 24 hours, the interest charged on this type of loan is very small as compared to other types. I can understand why so many people choose to take this route. Lawsuits can take years to be finalized and not everyone has the time or money to fight for extended periods. I think companies realize this and try to drag things out in the hopes of a settlement.
