In today’s economy everyone is looking for ways to save money. Knowing what discounts apply in your state is really beneficial when searching different insurance companies for car insurance quotes. The most accurate way to find out what discounts may apply to you is to visit the website of your state’s Insurance Regulator. If your state’s Insurance Regulator does not have a website do not hesitate to call their office and they will gladly mail out pamphlets with discounts that apply to insurance premiums. Most insurance companies will not uncover every discount that may be offered to you so it’s wise to do a little homework before shopping for car insurance.
