Medela Pump Style passed my Breast Pump Test

July 15th, 2010 by admin

I am contemplating on buying the Medela Pump Style. I am off to work in a couple of days and I need to pump my baby’s food even while in the office. I plan to breastfeed until my baby can be weaned out to other foods. A lot of my officemates that gave birth have managed to do this. They go to a quiet section of our office and use breast pumps. I have been searching for information and a guide to teach me on what type of pump should I use when I am not with my baby. The first consideration for me is time. My work is pretty dynamic and any minute, the boss can call you for a meeting. I have to consider how fast would it take to assemble the breast pump and how much time would i be given to pump. Electric pumps are said to extract milk from the mother more effectively. Another thing that I consider to be important is that the breast pump should have different suction levels and the breast cups or shields fit me perfectly. Pumping isn’t that comfortable so I have to have features like this to keep me stress free. And my last consideration is of course, the price. If the breast pump is worth every dollar, I have complaints. Upon comparing one brand vs another, I have come up with the decision to buy the Medela pump style. How about you? What do you consider important?
