My Weekend in Chamonix – Wonderful Views and Great Service

I’ve been to Chamonix once before, so I knew what to expect. The anitcipation was matched perfectly by another great experience – wonderful views of the highest mountains in Europe with great hotel service and restaurants. My favourite hotel – Hôtel Alpina – even had mont blanc pens which I thought was a nice touch with their namesake mountain peak nearby.
I left Chamonix with that tinge of regret – I wish I could have stayed longer and gone up the mountain cable car (no time, was on a business trip). I really need to get back there for a proper holiday.
